Living on an Island

Living on an Island; a massive island. How do we all live together and share the limited space and resources?
I loved reading Robinson Crusoe, by Daniel Defoe, first published on 25 April 1719. As a teenager, I was obsessed with survival and being self-sufficient in a challenging environment. I was also interested in solar power and other ways of getting resources to survive, like catching water and bush tucker. Western Australia would be definitely an Island I would love to be shipwrecked on, knowing how the indigenous lived now. An abundance of bush tucker, Native grain, tubers, grubs, and of course lots of kangaroo and duck meat, oceans full of fish, and rivers full of life. The Mediterranean climate and ecological diversity created a paradise. I am very happy that I have "life wrecked" here. I think the only way we will all live together is if we all embrace nature and sustainability.
